Uh, LyNdY BaBy, Scorn's a band, not an Evanescence album. that album was released in 1994 and Evanescence started in the late '90s. Sorry.

Evanescence Rocks! Additionally, their albums 'Origin' and 'Fallen' are the best albums I've listened to 'cause I'm tired of all the other stuff they call music, like Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Christina Aguilera, and Eminem! I'm sorry to the fans of the artists that I just mentioned, but my opinion is Evanescence is so much better and Amy Lee's got one heck of a voice and so many talents. I'm just sorry that she went through her sister's tragedy and now the recent departure of Ben Moody. So, to the band out there, good luck with the next album! And to whoever that called Amy a name that is defined as a malicious woman or a female dog, get...a...life 'cause she's got talent!

Evanescence rule! The first time i heard their song on tv i was hooked.i have nearly every song they ever recorded.Amy Lee is so beautiful!I want her wardrobe!Ive seen the band perform twice and they kick arse! All of you lot out there who think their crap, u can get lost.They will be around for time! i cant wait to hear whats on their next album.

MORONS!!! EVANESCENCE IS NOT GOTH IN ANY WAY!!!! GET A f***ING CLUE!! Oh, and the music is terrible, the lyrics could have been written by a 13-year old wannabe-goth, the videos makes me puke and there is no band, in fact Evanescence is a woman called Amy Lee. And boy does she love herself. Amy Lee is not goth. She doesn't know it herself, and sadly not the majority of you. They are not original either. Here in Europe there have been bands like Lacuna Coil and Nightwish... The Gathering, many years before this sh**.

I have seen evanescence twice so i know what im talking about here,ok!!!Evanescence are the best band i have ever heard,Amy can actually sing live unlike most vocalists who have their voice made up by computers and have to mime at concerts.give the band more respect an if you dont want to do that then keep ur big mouths shut!!!!! I actually quite like the songs that Evanescence presents. 'Going Under' was the first music video that I saw on the television and the song absolutely hooked me. It's just one of those songs that I can never get tired of. Some people may diss the band being overplayed or as some say 'Linkin Park with a female singer'. That's your opinion and I respect that. The album 'Fallen' is quite good and I'm looking forward for more music from the band.

The song is awesome just like every single song they make. And to the idiots who wrote such harsh things on here. Have you not listened to the lyrics? and to whoever said whoever wrote the songs should get the credit is also an idiot because she and ben wrote the songs themselves!The music has feeling unlike most of the crap bands are making today. Before you say evanescence is just a generic badn and everything else some of you have said just listen to more of their music than the songs that are on teh radio. She writes from her own experiences adn strong feelings and from things other people have experiences people relate to the music that way.The song Hello was written by Amy after her little sister who was 6 years old drown in the bathtub when she had a siezure. And they never claimed to be a christian band so the people who come on here complaining about that need to get your facts straight. The cd was in christian music stores by mistake so they were recalled. Amy has said that they are all christans in the band and they are not ashamed to say that but they just didnt want to be classified as a christian band because that puts restraints on your listening audience and alot of people wouldnt listen to it then and they also dont want to be remembered for being a christion band they want to be remembered for their music. SO THEY NEVER CLAIMED TO BE A CHRISTIAN BAND!!!!!So before you put some stupid remarks on here make sure you know what you are talking about first and stop being so ignorant. I have alotof respect for Amy and the rest of the band they are all great musicians and Evanescence is the best band i have ever heard and i hope they are around for a really long time. =-)

Dont exactly think this is the best song off their album, but it aint at all the worst one either. I absolutely love evanescence and their music. Dont give a sh** who writes the lyrics or if their written from true life experiences. The music in the end is awesome and thats all that matters.

Michelle, you are right on many counts. But one thing i must point out is that the music INDUSTRY is harsh BECAUSE of bands like this. Evanescence aren't so real as all that, just like Theory of a Deadman, say. Or Staind, picked right up off the street by Fred Durst to make some money off the angst-ridden. Everyone likes to believe they've 'been there' as you so eloquently put it, because people think (in these days of so many tits and explosions and special effects and drama queens on TV) their lives lack drama. For instance, people will feed off a disaster scene so they can have a story. The Music Industry has recognized this unfortunate human trait, so it has spawned bands to play off of it, like Evanescence. Hey, maybe you have had reasons to be angsty, this is by no means a personal attack... I just think the music industry is smothering those of us with actual creativity, and it needs to be destroyed before music becomes purely for the music again.

evanescence is prehaps the most interesting band i've come across over the years. At the moment, they are my favorite band. 'Going Under' is a very good song with a strong message, and in all honesty, i can strongly relate to the lyrics because i've been there. The entire album 'Fallen' is a class work of art that should not be overlooked. Nor, should it be judged unfairly. For those people out there who have written these negative things about Evanescence, I understand that you are stating your 'voice,' your opinion. But you must understand that no matter what you may think of the music, they should receive some hint of respect or recognition for making it this far in this harsh music industry. They are just doing what they love to do most. Is that such a crime? You may slap a genre of music on them and say they're 'nu-metal.' Or, you may say they're 'Linkin Park with a hot chick singer.' But it's far from the truth. They are artists. Take consideration for your words. Let me ask you this. What if you were a member of this band? Would you be able to take the low blows from the press, the media, or accept the remarks from people like yourselves. They do. Just give the music a chance. If you like it than great, if you don't then don't put Evanescence down.

If goths actually listen to this, than they're more rediculous than i thought. Never have I heard mainstream music so horribly choked with angst. Has anyone ever heard of 'The Gathering'? Didn't think so. They're from somewhere around Denmark, i think? ah well, for one, download 'Saturnine' by The Gathering. (That's right, RIAA, DOWNLOAD.) You'll all love it. It's legitimate, its not overproduced, and i honestly think they had something other than money in mind when they wrote it. The song is older than Evanescence, and guess what, it sounds exactly like them! That's the big surprise! ...I just realized something! If people cared if something had been done before even to the point of absolute overkill, then no one would listen to Nickelback or rap. Hip-hop is respectable. Rap is a perversion. Anyhow, Evanescence. 100% recommended daily intake of angst.

Going Under is great i love it!! Paul Mccoy is nice!!!!!! ;) wish i was as pretty as Amy Lee Evanescence are wicked the album is a classic My Immortal and Tourniquet are the best SOMEBODY TAKE ME TO THEIR TOUR!!! hope Evanescence last FOREVER and never split cuz their music is great!! CYA XXXXX

I HAVE RATED THIS 10/10! This song totally rocks! I'm from England but we have Evanescence here aswell. Their album is amazing. Bring me to life and Going Under are classic, Haunted and Tourniquet rock too! In my opinion, Evanescence are a cross between Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson, but way better. My mum used to be gothic when she was younger and she was practically identical to Amy when she's wearing the white dress underwater in the 'Going Under' video. Even though some stupid newspaper critics say that Evanescence are crap, basically the rest of the world think they're amaizin! Rock on!

This is the kind of song that you can listen to 50 times over and over again, and not get tired of it. It will stick in your head all day long. Just when you think rock bands won't know what to come up with next, you get 'Going Under' and also 'Bring me to Life' which are both so wonderful. Not to mention that she's very beautiful too ;-) She found her fan in the first time I heard her 'Going Under' song. Doesn't happen a lot. I usually only like a song after hearing it multiple times. I'll give it 9 points, just so it won't be the cliche '10 points'. Though this IS a classic. Though I have to add that I don't like the christian addition on her song, esp. 'My Tourniquet' or so. Being anti-christ it ruined it a bit... I don't like the idea of talking about your religion on a song

Evanescence is one of the best new things on the stage! Yay! They may be a little bit too mainstream to be a metal/rock band, but that is insignifigant as long as their songs really are among the best.

Amy is an amazing singer. Track 9, 'Hello' reveals that. Glad to see an actual singer doing hard rock. Um, by the way, Rap is not music. Not sure what it is, but it isn't music. It fits into some 'Art' catogory, but not music. Kinda like dung on a canvas. It's art, but not really a painting. And those that like it, well......

Great song. Amy really excels from switching from an 'empowered' voice to sweet and high, and the music is fast-paced without being being... off.

The song is absolutely awesome!! I bought the CD on a whim, and I remember hearing the song on the radio...all their songs are well-written. Amy Lee sounds like an industrial version of Sarah McLachlan. Also like the song 'My Tourniquet'.

Evanescence is a great band love them on there albulm but they not that great when they are live in concert i been to there concert and seen them live there not that great. 1. voice is never tuned 2. guitarist missing allsorts of notes 3. the guy that was in brng me 2 life doesnt even know how to dance there albulm is the best i heared especially going under when she hits the high notes but she atrocious when she sings life i thought she was suppose to be alot better live but i guess not oh well im entitle to my opinion i just want to here responces on why they cant be any better live i know the studio equipment bnut the eagles never had any problems metallica didnt either and many other muscians are great live and great on the albulm i wish they were like that to but oh well

I love this song. I bought the Bring Me To Life single the day after I had heard it on the radio and their album as soon as it came out. I love every song on the album, but this one's a personal favourite.

This song is better then Bring Me To Life, I think it'll be bigger also. It's getting tons of airplay on my local rock/metal station but it's also getting play on Top 20 stations. Sheesh, What's with the beef with Paul McCoy, I met the guy he's cool and he loves Evanescence

this is a greatest song that i've heard since they first came out with bring me to life. Evanescence is really awesome. I have seen all of the music videos and they are so inventive that i feel that i can open up with boys if i listen to this music more.

As opposed to the played-out antics of their previous hit, Evanescence could have a true classic on their hands with Going Under. First, let me go on record by saying that Bring Me To Life would've been a lot better if it didn't feature Paul McCoy. Nothing against the 12 Stones, it's just that Paul doesn't feel at home in a song like that. Going Under is a much more desperate, elaborate song. Amy's soothing (and uninterrupted) harmonies are enough to give even the most dedicated Cannibal Corpse fan at least one goosebump. Probably the best new addition is Ben Moody cranking out a halfway decent guitar solo.

Thank God they Finally released another song. I bought the album the first day it was released, and loved every song on it. Bring me to life was a work of art, and I only whish Evenescence would have thought twice about letting that worthless sh** sucking leech Paul Mcoy do a cameo in it. The song was a breath of fresh airuntil the radio played it out. I can only hope that more Evanescence tracks are released before the radio plays Going Under out as well. Amy Lee is Extremely talented, and she deserved every good thing she gets.
