This song is awful. First, it is totally repetitive.
also, the lyrics are extremely sexist.
For example:
'girls with their bodies & boys with ferarris' completely places women AND men down, women as simple objects for other's pleasure & men as ONLY object-loving.
'girls don't like boys girls like cars & money' is NOT true for everyone. this is a superficial stereotype.
so keep this in mind when hearing this song.

This is sad. The band Good Charlotte has some genuine talent, but has manipulated it to sound pop. Though they write some good songs (concidering a hard upbringing with the twins' father), it's not all it's cracked up to be. If they would really buckle down an write 'real' punk, it would be different, but they're the same as BSB, N*sync, Britney and Christina; pure pop.
Girls and boys is a great song for the pre-teens (or should I say 'tweens'?) but I honestly don't see how it could even tempt the palate of someone over the age of 14. Lyrically it's empty, musically, it's overly repetitive. I honestly don't see this band going anywhere in the future... But if they do, I hope they change directions.

Sh**'s not bad actually. Their music are decent but this is probably a bit biased because I can relate to most of the things they sing about. You lose 5 points for lack of originality. The chorus is a ripoff of the Blur song from 1994. (That's why it sounds punk -- they ripped off a punk band).

I used to like Good Charlotte a little bit when I first heard them. I particularly liked 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' as well as 'Bloody Valentine' and a little bit of 'The Day That I Will Die.' But, after hearing some more of their songs and the people they were. I was a bit flabbergasted. I thought they were some band like Creed (my personal favorite.) But, punks are something I never suspected. Then when my friend changed her lifestyle and idolized them, it just took the cake.
This song was highly offensive to me, and said just women were materialistic. Hardly, its called human greed.
