Alan Jackson makes me sick. I hate his version of this song. He has no true artistic talent. Singer/songwriter he is NOT. Singing someone elses song is pathetic. It's like rewriting a book and signing your name to it.

I'm a 43 y/o man. Whenever I hear this song it touches me so deeply. I try to keep it together since I usually hear it in my car. It fills my eyes with tears every time. I swear if I really let go I know this sweet song would make me cry like a little child. Its amazing that one person (Alan Jackson) could make a song with the exact right combination of lyrics and instruments that would be able to retrieve so many memories for me. Thank You, Sir.

I've never been a fan of country music until I was asked by a very good friend to record this song for her. This song has so much meaning, it has become my favorite song. I'll always think of one person whenever I hear it. Thanks for the song!

I was married young. I was married for 15 years and had three children..my wife left me for another man. I have since recovered from this divorce some 10 years ago. This song brings healing to my soul...because I do 'remember when'. For some reason it was easier for me to remember the bad things...I guess it was human nature...but there was good not to mention my beauiful children...the song does help me to remember when things were good! It wasn't all bad.thanks Alan!

My boyfriend and i are going through a really rough patch right now. I only listen to some country but have never heard remember when before. He sent this to me today, it took 6 hours to download but it was worth every second...considering i have played it 50 times. It is the most romantic song and i know its going to help us move on and fall in love all over again. I remember when, and will never forget, especially with the help of this song, its truely beautiful. i love you tim

Love the song 'Remember When'. I was NEVER a country music fan but I absolutly love this song! Since getting married and having a child Ive become a big sentimentalist and that song does it to me every time. I cry every time! Ive even begun to listen to other country music! This is from a hard core 'alternative music' fan! Go Alan!

He did an unbelievable job on all his work but the song Remember When is now my favorite. It just makes you stop... Alan thank you for that. I give you credit for opening up your private life to your fans through your music. Admirable.

I loved the song but if Alan Jackson writes 30 or 40 more songs that good people might start confusing his songs with John Prine, Steve Goodman or kris Kristofferson's songs!

I think this song is one of the best in Alan Jackson's collection. As a mom of three; all who have grown up, two boys and one girl. I know all too well those feelings of wondering where the time went. One son is in the navy and one will graduate high school in May and then go off to Paris Island for Marine Boot camp. I can't say enough how much this song has touched me.

I just love that song. It's my fave Alan's song. It remines me about my parents marriage and my dad. My dad passeda away almost a year ago and everytime when I listen that song, I remember my dad. My parents had a long marriage with up and downs, they got children and watch them grow up and move away.

Great song! Pulls at my heart strings right now because my 20-year marriage is at a critical point, one of those 'curves' where we are learning just how much we've broken each others heart over the years. I hope and pray we heal and grow together again, stronger and healthier than ever.

I love remember when by Alan Jackson because every time i hear it, It makes me think about life and love and that defidintly is love. For someone who doesnt know the words ill write it down for you. Remember when I was young and so were you And time stood still and love was all we knew You were the first, so was I We made love and then you cried Remember when Remember when we vowed the vows and walked the walk gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard We lived and learned, life threw curves There was joy, there was hurt Remember when Remember when old ones died and new were born And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged We came together, fell apart And broke each other's hearts Remember when Remember when the sound of little feet was the music We danced to week to week Brought back the love, we found trust Vowed we'd never give it up Remember when Remember when thirty seemed so old Now lookin' back, it's just a steppin' stone To where we are, where we've been Said we'd do it all again Remember when Remember when we said when we turned gray When the children grow up and move away We won't be sad, we'll be glad For all the life we've had And we'll remember when Remember when Remember when

I am in the process of being 'converted' to country music-becoming acquainted with some of the artists and their style of music. Alan Jackson has simply blown me away!! His honest, down-to-earth, 'this is just me' presentation of himself and his music is so inviting. You just have to pull up a chair and stay awhile!! A long while!!! Remember When's music is simply beautiful. As I listened to the song the first time, each verse brought back my own set of memories in my own life. And made me wish my life had turned out just that way. I was in tears a third of the way thru!!! Alan Jackson has a gift of being able to write from his experiences and from his heart with a delivery few artist can. He is one incredible man!!!!! With a beautiful family. I will be seeing him in concert in Lexington, Ky. the end of January. I simply can't wait!!!

This song is by far one of the greatest songs ever written, the lyrics, the music, the story, the emotion, and the video...they're beautiful, everyone can relate to it somehow. It brings tears to my eyes, and touches my heart over and over again everytime I hear it. I'm driving my family nuts listening to it so much, I just can't get enough of it. I agree with all you who say this song is up there with 'The Dance' (Garth Brooks). Even my anti-country music friends listened to this song and agreed, it is truly amazing.

And now that I am 40+, I reflect on my life with kids & such. This song is by far one of the best 'heart-tuggers' of all-time. My eyes well up everytime I hear it. Song of the Year.
