John Mayer has some pretty powerful lyrics and music. I think this song DEFFINATLY goes in that catigory. ;)

Clarity is my favorite song. It very different that most music that is out there. The song itself is amazing. The lyrics simply top it off. It is the type of song that is so energetic but still calm, relaxing and thought provoking. The melodies he puts together work so well. The song has that jazz coffee shop feel but a very cool sensation. It's a great song, i think its so good that it is the ring tone on my phone!

too bad john mayer is awesome and when people are like blah hes stupid or whatever i get pi**ed off b.c. i dont think they're listening to the music. not the lyrics but the music. hes a guitar genious and when performing at a concert, he takes you to another universe.

i am a john mayer fan, but this song sux. n fact, 5 other songs on the album suck just like this 1. the whole cd sux except 4 bigger than my body. i must admit that john mayer is my least favorite singer n wich i'm a fan of. his fans (bsides me) act like such wannabes all the time. asking clarity 4 2 b his next single? what kind of song is that? they could have asked 4 only heart, but no. john mayer needs 2 make more songs like bigger than my body, fast tempo songs. & 2 all u fans, f*** u. john mayer is nothing but a geek who bcame a geek on the effect of his fans.

This song is totally awesome. A hip hop track with a good beat that breaks into a rock song in the middle. There should be more songs like this.

England needs more John Mayer. Great Voice, great musical talent. What more needs to be said? Clarity is easily one of my top 5 fave songs. The other 4 are: Neon, Man On The Side, Heavier Things album and prolly.....Room For Squares. Just 3 months ago I was playing Metallica and Nirvana and the rest. Now I cant wait to see John Mayer when he actually tours England... Clarity = Great Record, it shows how smart JM is towards other artists, and a melody that i doubt no-1 could actually match in class. c',)

Clarity, indeed, is a great song on an even greater album. I think if i had to say what is my top 5 John mayer songs are my stupid mouth, clarity, wheel, back to you, no such thing.

Well I have heard clarity and own both albums. Clarity is a great album opener. I think it's a great choice for a single as well.

Clarity is the best song I have ever heard...My friend and I are in debate about which album is better and I really can not decide. I think if I could take my personal favoites and make them into an album, possibly titles 'Heavier Squares' or 'Room for things' the would be ideal. I have decided to answer the question which album is better with, I cant decide but clarity is the best song on either. This should be clear(no pun intended)(and by no pun intended I mean pun intended)but what you've read thus far.
