This song is beautiful! The first time I ever heard it was at my step-father of many years funeral. This song brought tears to my eyes that day and now everytime I hear the song. I don't attend church regularly, however I do believe in God and that there's a Heaven. I want everyone to hear this powerful song, so they too can enjoy it. He was such a wonderful father figure to me and such a wonderful man R.I.P Gene. I love you and you will never be forgotten!!

This song means so much more now then it did when it was first released because today it was played at my cousin's funeral. I have always loved this song it seems to be saying how I have always felt but was never able to express.

Wow I think this is a really great song. And even though I'm Christian, or very religious at all, I find it touching. I saw a ballet peice to this song, and thought it sounded familiar, like an old classic that has been around for years, so I was quite surprised.

I love this long, It brings tears to my eyes, every time I hear it, this world is hard enough to live in it. And when I hear this song. it brings me a feeling of tremendous, joyfull, peace inside. What we have forward to look for, being in the present of the lord.

I first heard this song, when I was driving home from work after a long stressful day, then it came on, at first I thought I had it on the local Christian station KLove, but it was the local Country Station, and I about pulled my truck over because I was so inspired by this song. It speaks a volume no where else can I find. I find it so weird that this song has been out for a while, but yet I have only first heard this a few months ago.

I have heard this song on the radio many time but never really listened to it. I never really knew what it ment until my good friend died. There was a church group of 5 people who sang this song at his funeral. When it was played it made me cry but also know that he was in heaven and loving every minute of it. It brings a whole nother meaning to what it is going to be like when we all go to heaven. Just being at his funeral and know him and what king of a guy he was makes me be more of a christian and pray more than i ever did. I never knew the power of prayer till that day on 2-11-04!! When I first heard this song it brought tears to my eyes. So many people now a days want Christ taken out of everything. It's about time he is brought back into everyday life even if it is only through a single song. Music is one way of touching someone's heart and I know that anyone that listens to this song will be touched. What a powerful meaning and a beautiful song that leaves us all to imagine. the whole song just wonderful i'm an inspired singer
and a huge christian!and it gives off a magic of what it will really be like when your standing in front of the lord and will i 'you' be able to sing, dance, or fall to my knees! this song brought up a lot of qutions i've never thought about 'what will it be like!?!

I want to thank the Lord for inspiring Bart. I first heard this song played at a funeral. It touched my heart. I was on line tonight in search for the Lyric's. We have a teen in our church who signs. This song has given me a new meaning, I had never heard the song before, until my boyfriend sand it to me. That song means alot to me because he sang it to me, I want to listen to it all the time now. I really love that song, I believe in Jesus and it just made me want to know more about wanting to see him when I finally do get to meet him! This song has a whole new meaning for me. It was at my uncles funeral. He was very important to me and this song made a huge difference in his death. It made it more not loosing an uncle but it made me able to see him in heaven. I love this song. It may make me cry but MercyMe has some great talents let me tell you.

This song has impacted people more than any song. Not only is it huge with Christian music, it is a hit on the secular stream. Everytime I hear this song, it makes me cry. It really makes you think about your life and it reminds us to live our lives for Jesus. Everybody should listen to this song everyday to remind them to focus on Jesus, and one day we will see him face to face in Heaven. Thank you MercyMe!

My mom's friend lost her daughter, Patricia Millican, in octoder.'I Can Only Imagine' was on the dvd memorily and every time I hear this song I start to cry.Thank you Mercy Me.This song has helped her parents through their tragic loss.It is also my favrite song.

'I Can Only Imagine' sends chills up my spine. I lost my only son, age 19, two years ago and for a while, my heart was dead. I was very angry with God. However, this song has helped revive the warmth and love in my heart for my Lord Jesus Christ. We can, indeed, only imagine what we will feel when we do stand in the presence of Jesus Christ our Lord. What a beautiful song. I go to bed at night hearing the words in my head and tears come to my eyes. What a beautiful and touching song. I just can't tell you in words to what extent this song has touched me. I appreciate that this song has meaning for some folks, but maybe MercyMe is missing something here. Instead of trying to imagine something they cannot, recognize God's immediated presence here & now. Listen to Live's song 'Heaven' (lyrics available on this site) and learn. Why assume after we die that we might 'walk', 'see', 'feel', 'dance', 'stand', 'sing', 'speak' or even 'worship' since these are things we do as living humans? I even wonder why does MercyMe assumes God will demand we forever 'worship' him? Have we assigned our own vanity or jealousy to the force that created the universe? Yea, I know most religions tell us that this is what God wants, but I believe in God, not religion. I give God more credit than I do humans with their imperfections...

I absolutely love this song. Each time I listen to it it reminds me of my brother who recently passed away at 21 R.I.P Chris. The words make you think because they are put together so well, and they have a strong impact on you.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Mercy Me twice in Michigan and I love their music and spirit. I realized what I love about this song and that is that for the duration of this song I feel a total connection with God. It moves me to tears while taking me to that place that I know is only an instant glimpse of heaven.

This song was performed at my school by a really cool speaker today..... It's very powerful, just a beautiful song. I'd give it a 10 but I think it'd be even better if it were more powerful than just piano accompanying the singer.

I absolutly love this song. After I heard it I went out and bought the CD. I listen to it everyday in the car. It is wonderful. I always find myself singing it in the halls on the way to my next class, but dont care that everybody is looking at me. It is now my favorite song and I am having my friends that havent heard it listen to it because i think that they will love it also.

i absolutly loved this song! it is one of my favorite songs for life even when i get to be like 60 years old i will still remember this song b/c it touched me soo much b/c it just has such powerful lyrics! when i listen to if i just get all relaxed and i am not aware of any problems i might have been dealing with! its just great!
