A bland, soulless ballad with brutally unimaginative lyrics, with an FM-radio friendly chorus but zero creativity. Among Avril's worst power ballads, if not the worst.

I just love this song. Avril Lavigne has another classic on her hands and on everyone's hands. Avril has one of the best voices in pop music today besides Rihanna and this song just brings out the greatness in of her singing. What a great song is how i end this little essay.

hate it hate it hate it!!! very fake & emotionless. & in the video the couple's initals are A+D which is ironic to me cuz thats the initals to me & my gf. Alexa + Daniella. I hated constipated and girlfriend but I just prefer when Avril does these kind of lesbian songs

yeah! I'm so glad she got a sensible song out there that has a positive message! (even though I do love her song 'girlfriend.') It had to be a leap of faith for a pop/rock singer. go avril!
