At first I didn't like this song at all but after hearing it again and again I really took the time to listen to the lyrics and it became more beautiful and meaningful each time. I think she is singing this song to her Dad who she may have had a falling out with and now that she's older and wiser she understands that he was only human and she would give anything to have him back in her life but it is too late, perhaps he died? Anyway, this song is so touching and beautiful and I cried. I have a birthfather I have only seen once and what I wouldn't do to look into his eyes again and have him looking back!!! Chills! Love you Christina, you are a beautiful singer.

As usual her vocals are solid but she sounds exausting and the song drags like nails on a chalk board she looks HORRIBLE in the video and the video doesnt make sence I dont think this is her best work nor do i see it going to number 1 anytime soon... not only that but the album itself isnt anything revelutionary its good but thats about it she isnt a mariah or a whitney.

This song is definetley one of the most touching on the entire album. She hits every note with such emotion that its bound to make you cry. It sounds like shes singing from the heart and thats what makes a great artist, which she most certainly is. Rock on girl!

I am 41 years old, and i am SO thankful that an artist such as this is truly going back to the basics--in a very real sense. This song is a testament to why music exists--to convey a thought, feeling, or emotion in a way that touches all of us.
