To answer your question Blech! is because Americans now are brain washed about material things and looks and all that jazz and all they can think about is hip-hop and sex. Notice the big comparisons from the 80's hip hop with the current ones? They are all filled with s***ty women who don't know the difference between decent and just plain wrong....them being drapped over money and cars and air humping rappers who aren't really good to begin with. What a way to grab someone's attention.

Yes, its overplayed but when you hear it the first few times it sticks out and is quite original. Go Nelly and Timbaland!

I'll give this a seven because it's a cool song. It might get boring if you listen to it many times. It's a great song for people who like hip-hop. I love the beat because you can even dance to it without the singing! It's a cool song.

This is by far the best single of 2006. It has an incredible beat. Great for the clubs, dancing and flirting. No wonder it was atop the Billboard Hot 100 for 6 weeks in a row. I love how Nelly Furtado reinvented herself. After a not very commercially succesful album, she came back with a great song. Promiscuous and Maneater are two of the best songs of the summer and the year.

Promiscuous is #1! I love that song and Ilove Nelly Furtado 4 making the song, It's #1 because she has a wonderful voice along with Timbaland and it deserves to be. This song ROCKS! Urmmm Ho-Hum...its OK. But I've heard better. She doesnt use her vocals very well in this song, not to the best of her ability like she does in that awsome song 'I'm Like a Bird.' And also, its sooo damn obvious she cant dance I mean all she does is attempt to move her hips a little bit but it looks absolutely ridiculous! Hhahaa my mama can cook up better moves than that!

The song is fun and great for summer, and Timbaland is great as usual. My problem is Nelly Furtado going hip hop. Sure her songs are fun and the album is great, but does this world really need more hip hop? Well, as long as Timbaland keeps putting down these beats, I dont care if he turns James Blunt into a hip hop edged artist.

Smelly Faturdo is of Brazillian and Canadian heritage. She has no talent whatsoever and I hate all of her past hits just a well, I'm Like A Bird and Turn Out The Light which are both equally awful as Promiscuous.

If there is a rating lower than '0' that is what Nelly Faturdo's Promiscuous deserves. 'Juggles The Clown' you couldn't have rated this better. Promiscuous is a product of the 'Dumbing Down Of America' and the Dumbing down starts with S hit music like 'Promiscuous' and the Media Nazis namely ''Clear Channel'' who promote garbage music like this and 99% of the equally awful songs on their contrived playlists through their 1,200 stations nationwide. It's all payola and hype which pushes 'Fake Hits' like promiscuous to the upper reaches of the charts. Just carefully listen to most of today's top hits and you'll wonder how such awfully contrived garbage can become big hits.......Money talks Bullsh** walks and unsuspecting fools follow like sheep.

What origin is she? Is she some kind of Zebra breed? #1 I can't stand her anyway! The video is terrible....She has '0' talent! She can't dance....In the video to cover up her horrible dancing they put in REAL talented dancers. And then just show shots of her shaking her hips, rather ridgidly i might add! #2 She can't sing worth a flip! Wake up AMERICA! Another great song by Nelly Furtado. To clear up the confusion her last song was 'Forca' prior to that was 'Explode' 'try' and 'Powerless' All off her 2003 Folklore album so we havedn't heard from her since earleir last year

Smelly Farturdo sucked back then snd she still sucks now. Promiscuous like 'I'm Like A Turd(Bird)and Turn Off The Light (Earllll...Raolllllpppphhhhh!!!!!!) sucks. Smelly Nelly's voice is AWFUL and she her singing is DULL and extremely BORING and her songs have no kind of redeeming value. Promiscuous is totally BORING!!! unlistenable garbage. Maybe Nelly Farturdo and Teddy Geiger will get together one day and have a Flat Singing contest. I guarantee the score would tie!! Promiscuous is bad enough to make a straight man turn GAY!!!

We hadn't heard anything from Nelly Furtado since she had a top 10 hit with 'I'm Like A Bird' back in 2001. Well, she's back, and she's better than ever! Great song, great video! Just simply amazing.
