This song is wonderful and I myself have played it so much that my cd starts so skip on certain parts of that song. When I first got the cd I was so excited that my boyfriend bought it for me. That is the MAIN song that I listened to.

This song is so played. MJB isn't as good as she thinks is. Her ego is too big for herself. This one is only good enough for 3 stars.

Possibly the best RB song of the past decade. So good, I cant think of anything negative to say about it. Trust me, I tried.

Mary J, I am OBLIGED to say that this song is Dull and Boring!!! The melody is Dull and the music is Boring, Lifeless & Dull!! Most of Mary J Blige's music is the same way. The Breakthrough (by Mary J. Bilge) what breakthrough, It's the same old Boring Dull Soul-Less music by Mary J. Bilge (Bilge is not a Typo). I can be without 'Be Without You' .

A pure masterpiece. However, the only negative thing I can say about it, is that it is riding the coat tails of Mariah Carey's recent success. This song would not been the massive hit it is if it wasn't for 'We Belong Together,' and 'Don't Forget About Us.' These three songs are smooth, easy baseline, R&B songs that may in the future be confused for one another.

I heard this song the first time on Jan. 19th. I wrote about it then, but on Madonna's review because this song wasn't here. I'm glad it bounced to the top 10 so quick. Like I said before, I haven't heard soul sound this good before.

Mary is like Mariah. She has staying power. Mary, however, is like a fine wine. She gets better with age. This song is a crossover smash! Huge buzz on this one and everyone is feeling it...including me. Top 20 debut on Chauncey's Top 40.

Another great song from Mary J. Blige - I think 'The Breakthrough' is one of her best albums so far. She's been on the music scene for quite a long time, and I've liked just about everything by her, including this.

This will be another classic hit for the QUEEN OF SOUL Mary j. Blige. The song is real as life and she tells it how it is. The song is another one of the many that might as well be played when getting married because that's excatly what it talks about. Mary keep doing you thang I ain't mad at you for always reiventing yourself and always coming out on top.
