This was the first song from Madonna to go to #1 on Chauncey's Top 40 since 'Take A Bow'. This is a great song and it is unfortunate that it only peaked in the top 20 on airplay charts. I love the video and the choreography in it. This could be one of her best songs in years! I guess you could say that I'm 'hung up' on this song. Ha ha! I'm clever. This song received very limited airplay on WRVW - Nashville.

mmmmm at first I thought :not another abba cover ! But now i realize its production is very clever. Madonna and her producer took Abba's melody to another level. It's apparently a huge hit worlwide . I still prefer other songs on her album that could become a favourite Madonna album... Oh Christ, I still had some respect for Madonna but now it's completely gone. Using a sample from a major hit is such an incredibly cheap trick. Cheap artistically, not cheap financially -- because she probably had to pay big bucks for that ABBA sample. You simply _know_ that any song based on a hook of a major hit will also appeal to people, especially those who don't know the old hit. I know the old hit and the sample is the only good part in this song. The rest is pure filler. I suggest everybody has their ABBA compilations ready all the time, and plays 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' everytime this piece of crud is played on the radio.

It's a pleasure to hear the new Madonna's euro-disco sound, altought the album ain't enough 4 me, it has some good moments (I love the songs 'Future lovers' and 'I love New York') but the rest ... it's like Kylie Minogue boring sound. Anyway, 'Hung up' is funny, groovie, trendy and one more Madonna's hit.

This song really grows on you. The first listen was just nothing but as you listen to it, you would not know what hit you with its addicting beat and catchy tune and lyrics. It is a breath of fresh air in the charts dominated by r&b and fluffy pop songs. Madonna is the undisputed Queen of Pop. She might not be dominating the charts like she used to but nobody can match her achievements in the music industry...not to mention the attitude that comes with it...she does not care whether critics like it or not...it's the fans that she really cares about.

Madonna is simply the greatest, most famous, and most celebrated female entertainer of the past 25 years. 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' is, in my opinion, her best album so far, and 'Hung Up' is one of her best tracks in years. It looks as if 2005/2006 will be the best years in all of Madonna's career.

De verdad tiene un excelente ritmo y esta bastante dance esta canción. Ademàs ella logra siempre estar en las listas de popularidad, a pesar de tener mas decadas que todas las demas divas.
En México ha logrado ya debutar en el Top 40.
