Unbelievable song. It was just a nice ballad with an odd tone when I first heard it but on knowing the story, its a tear jerker every time. Best song ever written!

This is a very beautifull song. It makes me remember the time when my daugther Lis came to this world. Words of the song that always put some tears on my face are 'I've seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes', and 'I see it in your eyes, You will be all right'. I love this song and the memories it gives to me. Lis has now 10 yers old and I also love her a lot.

I absolutely love this track. One of the BEST songs I have heard in years without a doubt!!! I must listen to this at least 10 times a day. Quite often listening 4 or 5 times one after the other. Totally fab!

'Wires', from Athlete's second album Tourist is very different from their previous quirky pop material, going much deeper and personal than before. Until you learn the story of the song, it doesn't particularly strike the listener at first but listen closely and you'll experience a touching song on a issue rarely addressed in today's music. Written about a premature baby, the simple yet powerful lyrics and melody make this song an effortless masterpiece, one that you'll want to listen to again and again.
