This song is just awesome. Her album is the best I've heard in years. She actually wrote 6 of the 12 songs and she does plat guitar. I don't understand how people can sit here and compare her with Avril. She is a junkie. She can't sing at all. All she can do is play a guitar. She has no voice what so ever. Kelly is cleaning up at all the award shows. She is just so real and people can relate to her that is why she has so many fans. I've seen her twice live once in Detroit and the other in Toronto. Her voice is so clear and unbelieveable. It's sounds just like her album. I have to say Kelly clarkson is a 10 out of 10 she has the whole package.

I love Kelly Clarkson, she is a real Cutie and she can really sing. This is not one of my favorite Kelly Clarkson songs but her voice does justice to this mediocre sort of boring song. All in all Kelly has talent. I'll still rate this song a 10 despite that I don't like it.

Avril is yet anutha stupid yung celebrity who hasn't even finished growin yet and is already gettin married n having a baby (just like stupid Britney) so kelly is better. wats up Avril? i thought u were smarter dan dat?

She deserves every bit of success she gets because come on.... she is the sh*t! You should see her live, i did and i was amazed. she's so good. and earth to ppls... NO ONE wites their own music nemore! That stopped basically in the 80's. Atleast let someone with talent do music that isn't written by them. You people are ridiculous. Regardless of how Kelly Clarkson recieved her record deal, I don't understand how you can deny her massive appeal, great voice, and catchy hit songs. This is yet another perfect song from Kelly Clarkson, and yeah so what she doesn't write her own stuff, but then again either does Norah Jones, Celine Dion, or Whitney Houston, and look at their critical acclaim and success. Kelly Clarkson is single handledly bringing back the trend of releasing 5 or more massive hits from one album. She joins the likes of only Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul in this feat. She also becomes the first artist ever to have 5 Adult Top 40 songs from one album. Yeah but I guess she doesn't deserve it because somebody taped her process of winning a record deal. Give me a break. A++++ Kelly Clarkson.

i really like this song, i think that it is cool, and she is one of my favorite singers anyway. she looks really good in the video too, very fit and beautiful

Kelly Vs. Avril: Kelly has a great voice, but that's about it. She doesn't write her own songs except for a select few that she co-wrote with three or four other people. Avril writes ALL of her songs with no more than one co-writer. She plays guitar, piano and even drums at her shows! However, she can't match Kelly's voice. Kelly is the more talented singer and Avril is the more talented artist.

I agree with Copycat. It wasnt til Breakway that Kelly came out with this pop-rock style in her music. Actually, i dont even think she writes alot of her songs. She has so many other artists that offer their 'help' towards the success of her singles. But the girl has a great singing voice, but im not sure if i like this blonde-rocker outfit on her. Its very Avril Lavigne inspired which is just posing, so who is Kelly Clarkson? Anyways, this song is catchy and suitable for Kelly's voice. I HATE the video, its a bore and thats a shame cauz i was looking forward to seeing it. I loved Since u Been Gone and B/cause of u. The song offers an edgy-pop sound that makes u wanna dance and sing along. But again, Chantal Kreviazuk co-wrote the song which shows how much help Kelly needs to put out an okay song. PS.Chantal helped Avril too with the UNDER MY SKIN album. So, this single receives a 7. GOOD

I don't mind Kelly Clarkson, but I feel that she has been greatly influenced by Avril Lavigne. It was not until her most recent album that she adopted a pop-rock sound. She's worked with R. Maida, C. Kreviazuk, B. Moody & C. Magness...all of whom have worked with Avril previous to Kelly. Kelly even ended up taking a song that Avril co-wrote (Breakaway). She started out singing soulful ballad type songs....I guess changing her music is her way to rid of the American Idol image. Besdies Kelly, I believe that many artists are trying to do the same thing: Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff & Lindsay Lohan.

Sebastian ... Are you one of the American Idol contestants who couldn't make it past the first round? You certainly sound a little bitter, bro. American Idol may have been a launching pad for Kelly, but she's making it on her own. There are lots of one-hit wonders out there who would take her success and not give a $#%*% where she started. I guess the bottom line is ... if you don't like her, don't listen to her.

This is FAntastic music and kelly clarkson rox! u no she is one of da rare gems in the music industry who is actually there based on her TALENT (and what wonderful talent she has!) she doesn't need to use friggin sex appeal like so many other artists to get herself noticed (ahem Britney, Xtina, p*ssy cat dolls, paris f***ing hilton!!!) there is so little talent in the world today and it scares me. we're turning into a talentless s lutty world becoming famous for the rong things. This song is my favourite off the album Breakaway! It's the most upbeat of all her songs which seem to be just crying out in pain and negativity. I'd like to see this song go far! I love it! It's sorta soul music in a way. Also another good song is I HATE MYSELF FOR LOSING YOU.

U know wat sebastion ur an ass i bet u like ppl like madonna or 50 cent who just use sexuality to sell records like honstly kelly clarkson is like one of the only ppl who should be praised for breaking away from dat stupid contract and if u ever read da words u wud understand...but seeing as ur always so thick headed i guess ull never understand. Clarkson is a credit to the music industry for showing us that she is really the real deal and sticks to her roots.! AMEN~!

God, Sebastian you have posted at least one negative review in every kelly Clarkson song, GET A FREAKIN LIFE, I mean who cares what u think, you're so annoying. This song is really good and it has a super catchy chorus, way to go kelly, another #1 hit.

I can't stand this song. It's rare that I'll go so far as to give a song a rating of 0, but Kelly Clarkson isn't deserving of anything better. There isn't a single song of hers that I've ever liked, and this is the fifth single to be released off 'Breakaway.' I tend to prefer artists who have been successful in the music world from their own talent, as opposed to having been manufactured by that American Idol show. Kelly Clarkson is certainly not a talented performer. A talented performer is one who can get a record deal without having to use TV to their advantage.
