I like Rich Girl cause it is a faster version of a song that is one of my favorite plays!!!! I think it is cool cause Gwen Safani is a sweet singer!

The reggae song Rich Girl came out in the 90s and they played it on Hot 97 like every day!!! Why are people acting like this crap is new? And this 'copy of a copy' isn't even as good as the 'first' copy! Gwen Stefani is nothing but an exploitative moron; even her voice has gone to s--t since leaving No Doubt.

It's from Fiddler on the Roof, the Musical, you know? Originally it was 'rich man'. This version is based off of the dancehall version. Kind of loses its meaning when it's a rich girl singing it.

I like this song. I don't think it's supposed to mean she wants to be rich, because she already is. I think it's supposed to be the thinking of girls who want to be rich. I think the beat is cool too. It's a good dance-to song.

Truely awful song. Its catchy beat is what will make it sell, but lyricaly its poor. Personally find it distasteful that a millionaire harps on about wishing to be rich, and she abuses the English Language once more. Just another R'n'B song then.

LOL, A reggae song??? If I were a Rich man is from Fiddler on the Roof. It's as ancient as Norman Wisdom... Reminds me of some of the stuff that Big Brovaz done with old songs like that...

The song itself it extremely catchy and addicting...that is the sell on it. Smart on Gwen's part. The simplicity of it sells... As for the rest the album, it sells itself in that you don't know what Gwen was thinking, but it works. Some of the songs revolve around alot of cars, backseats and track meets... but underneath the words... you find yourself moving your head around. The important part

Except What you want, the rest of the songs are OK. However you say what is up with her lyrics, did she write them when she was a teen? well guess what..in today's lame rap world, simple lyrics gets you $$. Shes damn smart..GO GWEN!

..rich girl ..na na na, u're already rich, shut up shut up! hah Gwen just sings about so many wrong songs on this album. Are these songs that she wrote when she was a teenager?- well there is an 80's feel on it. Have a listen to the album and consider the fact that she just had a kid and she's over 30. ('baby do me fast in your car'??) 'what you waiting what you waiting what you waiting for?' that's the best song from the album and still my favourite!

It does not have a Reggaeton feel ... it has a Reggae feel. This is because it was originally a Reggae Song many years ago. The artist were Michie One and Louchie Lou ... can they get some credit or will Gwen not even acknowledge thier existence ???

It is a good song with a dancehall reggae feeling. But the reason for that reggae feeling is because this is remake of an actual reggae song. No one seems to know that or acknowledge it.

This is a really good song, and from what I hear it's going to be the second single. It's got a little reggae feel to it and it's danceable. Eve also does a really good job on this song. Altogether it's it's a really fun song.
