Why didn't U2 quit while they were ahead? Why are they still making music? The band IS getting older, and they have seemingly lost their spark and have now resorted to this. I was really disappointed in How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. U2 haven't had a consistent album since Pop....

Bono is so himself in that song, he's letting his own feelings come crash up with the nice melody and the sooooo beautiful lyrics!!! IT IS the most remarquable song ever made...along with ONE...
There is so meanings in that song, everyone can recognize himself in that song...it's universal!!!

This song is a really good song. How can you not like it? This song has so much meaning behind it. Yeah it's depressing but for good reason. It's about his father who died of cancer and how he felt like he couldn't talk to him but in the end he just hoped that he could at least hear him sing and see that he is making something of his self. You are a shallow person if you can't feel this song. It has so much emotion in it. It's the best song on the album that I have heard so far.

U2 is gay and their songs sound like their in an auditorium. This song is depressing and makes you feel like a loser and it makes you feel tired. They wan't everyone to feel like them!

Dude how can you not like this song, how can you not like U2 these guys are in the rock n' roll hall of fame, have been around for over 25 years and still they know how to make great music a ton of bands wear down after that kind of time but not U2. Get U2 with Aerosmith for a concert and I'd just be yelling tickets for me, tickets for me! As for the song this song really gets you right in your heart, mind and soul and I can't stop listening to how nice this song is. Let's see those pop/ hip-hop 'musicians' if they can be called that can do anything near the magnitude of U2, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Queen, Green Day, Van Halen and more awesome artists.

I reckon this song is the best thing on U2's latest album. Lyrics are good, but it protrays most of Bono's feelings towards his late father. very personal feel, down touching and soulful.

Amazing song, problaby not the best melody, but by far the best lyrics bono has ever written. He began writing when he knew his dad had cancer. He finished it after he died.

I just love this song! This has to become one of the greatest classics Bono and the gang ever have given birth to! A sad and beautiful song about a troublesome relationship between people who love each other...
