It's a FANTASTIC song, I love it. I can't give it a ten because ten is perfect, and there no such thing a perfect. But it's so close. Too close. I love this song with burning passion. It actually means something deep, unlike all the other corny songs.

Jewel has Not been ripped off! There is a similarity, but it is only a similarity of style. If you can read music, you will see it.This newcomer has a good clear voice, obviously a large lung capacity. And also has very nice , yet haunting lyrics that can send a chill down your spine and and make you feel lonely at the same time. It's what a good song can do. Who knows how long she will last? There will be remakes of this song. I am 55 years old and teach music.

This song has alot of meaning to it. It explains how i feel right now and she adds alot of meaning. If some people disagree about this, then i respect there opinion but just know one thing...if they disagree then they dont understand ANYTHINg about music. Artists have this obsession to write songs about the same thing just change the music lyrics abit and the tone of the song. This song isnt like that, it adds how the artist feels. Im hoping to find a song that i can write about what no one else has written about.

OK, I'm pretty much officially obsessed w/ this song, which is really saying something because I normally don't even listen to this genre of music(classic rock is still amazing). The depth of the lyrics (something which most stupid rap and pop songs lack)in this song is what catches my attention. The '(2 am)' helps distinguish Breathe from other versions of the title on paper. Give her a listen and you'll soon discover it's Anna Nalick's voice and lyrics that distinguish her from the other mundane singer/songwriters of today. I like so many other people heard this song on the radio and fell instantly in love with it. I don't want to sound repeative, but it is a great song. I love the lyrics, and I like the soothing melody. Whenever I am mad or whatever, I listen to this song and I am instantly relaxed. I can never, and will never get enough of this song! From the first time I heard it on the radio I had this thought in my head, 'I just have to have this song!' From then on I was on an ever existing mission to find out who sang the song, but always missed it when the commercial blabber-mouths came on to speedily talk like auction coordinators. Then I got fed up with straining my ears just to catch a glimpse of the name and title of the song, but you could kind of figure the name of the song from the song itself. I thought Jewel was pulling a fast one on her fans by releasing a single and keeping it underwraps. Luyckily it wasn't the case.

Ya...i thought it was a new Jewel song too. I have loved Jewel since I was a little girl and I had really hoped this was one of her songs. I like the song but I really hate how it sounds like she copied Jewel. I play guitar and try to emulate Jewel's stuff at times but music is really about finding your own style so i think that Nalick should find her own thing too.

A great song with a catchy tune and meaningful lyrics. The unfortunate thing is I thought it was Jewel's new hit single for weeks. Nalick sounds overly influenced by the modern, sweet-voice folk approach that Jewel made so popular in the early 90's. As a result, similarities between the singer's voices and writing style are uncanny and makes Nalick come across like a copycat.

I think Anna's song is one that is beautiful. I think it is a song about life and how things that happen and stuff. Very, very beautiful song! I loved it! Right now I am listining to it. Her song atleast diserves a 8 at the most but I loved it so much that I gave it a 10! And until I heard this song, I loved alot of other songs...but now to me this is my favorite song! I think if someone thinking this song sucks...they should listin to the song because at the first part it says 'Like they have any right to critize. I love this song. I was sure it was a young country singer named Jessica Andrews (she doesn't have a country sound to her songs). Jessica sings 'That's who I am' (Rosemary's Grandaughter song) and 'There's more to me than you' I have some of Jessica's CD's and their voices are identical.

The song is full of raw emotion. It's something that everyone can relate to. The song grabs by the heart and puts you trans that you never want to break. A very good first hit choice for a new artist. The way is written is mavelous and the style the song just makes you want to listen over and over again. This song is amazing, I downloaded it a few months ago, and I listen to it all the time. I just went out and bought the albulm and it is excellent. This is the best song on it, but the rest are easily 8/10 or 9/10. The best new artist in years. I describe it as Norah Jones meets Jewel, with a more beautiful voice than either. Really great stuff. Wow! She takes the tried & true images like a train jumping the tracks & an hourglass & transforms them into a uniquely profound observation by adding the other cars to the train & gluing the hourglass to the table. It reminds me of how difficult it is to leave a difficult relationship when kids or other family members would be derailing along with you. OMGOMGOMG this is like the best song out there right now! (possibly the best of the year) the first time i heard it (i think) was in the movie A Lot Like Love and i started tearing and stuff. im one of those romantics-with-her-head-in-the-clouds and like this song just touches me and brings me back down to earth. it's has such good metaphors and like it makes me want to just breathe! She has such a REAL voice (for once!) and like alot of other artists have such fake and computerized voices but i can tell hers is real. A strange thing happened to me a few weeks ago... I've heard of Anna Nalick and I always wanted to know what kind of voice she had and what type of singer she is. Then I was in my room listening to the radio as I did my homework and I heard a song with a great voice singing it and at first I thought it was Sheryl Crow ( who rocks by the way ) and then I listened to the lyrics and they seemed to flow so easily and i heard the words ' Just breathe ' a lot, so i went online and typed it into google, you can find anything on the internet these days, anyway... I found the lyrics and it just so happened to be Anna Nalick! I was like, whoa. Because I heard one of my friends say that she sucks, and this really isnt the case. Not only was it a coincidence but i'm really glad that Anna Nalick is on the radio. Not only is she a bright young artist who contributes thought provoking and meaningful lyrics that give us a break from this ' lick my lollipop and rub on me sexy b**ch ' type of garbage everyday on TV and the Radio, but her songs have helped me to realize that you should look out from your usual favorite music genre, because you never know what you'll come across. I don't think I have to say this, but I recommend her! Buy her CD, you wont regret it!

I have to confess that I am probably the oldest person posting here about this song but that doesn't matter since this song obviously reaches many age groups. I think that this is one of those songs that makes you stop to listen becasue the chours jingle ' Breathe' sticks in your head.
