Top Songs of the Decade (2000s)
Billboard has done an excellent job producing their "Best of the 2000s" charts which are available for free on their website. The top song, as ranked by performance on the Billboard Hot 100, is Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together." It was #1 for 14 weeks in 2005 and stayed on the Hot 100 for 43 weeks. The Black Eyed Peas were the only artist/group to have two songs inside the top 10, as "I Gotta Feeling" was #5 and "Boom Boom Pow" was #7. Nickelback represented the lone rock act in the top 10. Scanning the top 100 is very interesting and fun, but we wish Billboard could put each song's year into the chart.- Billboard's Best of the 2000s - Hot 100 Songs
