THO 100 for week ending February 27, 2010
The new THO 100 chart has been published and Lady GaGa breaks the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 with her smash "Bad Romance." The previous record of 15 weeks was shared by Cher's "Believe" (1999) and Madonna's "You'll See" (1995-1996). If you are sick of Miss GaGa, don't blame me... the THO 100 chart is based on personal charts found all over the web, including discussion groups and personal web sites. "Bad Romance" still has a healthy lead over #2 "Tik Tok," so another week or two at #1 is not unlikely. It is GaGa's third number one song, following "Just Dance" and "Poker Face." THO has a poll to vote on the best Lady GaGa songs, and "Bad Romance" had an early lead, not surprisingly.- Current THO 100
