We've already profiled two of the "younger" artists who will be inducted into Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year: Madonna and John Mellencamp. Now we turn our attention to two more venerable groups who also get inducted this year: The Ventures and Dave Clark Five. Both groups had a string of memorable hits, although most of us probably are too young to remember them. If you'd like to read more about The Ventures, here is their Wikipedia listing. And here is the same for Dave Clark Five. Also, in their honor we've created two polls for you to select your favorite songs from each:Labels: Dave Clark Five, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Ventures

In December it looked like Alicia Keys might get her second #1 hit on the THO chart with "No One." Her first single, "Fallin'," went to #1 back in 2001. But for the eighth consecutive week it sits at #2 stuck behind Timbaland's "Aplogize" (featuring OneRepublic). And even though Timbaland's hit is losing points quickly, Keys still may not get the top spot next week. That is because Britney Spears' new song "Piece Of Me" is storming up the chart. In its eighth week on the chart it sits at #3 with a nice point gain. Here is the current chart.Labels: Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, OneRepublic, Timbaland

We' compiled hundreds more votes from our 1989 polls and updated the Top 100 Songs of 1989.Labels: 1980s, 1989, Bangles, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Paula Abdul, Poll

We've already published our Top 100 Songs of 2007 chart, but now it is your turn to vote on which of the top 10 songs you think was the best. I'm sure some won't think any of these 10 songs deserve to be on the list, but these were the favorites compiled from hundreds of personal charts (every week!) on the web. Here is the Top Song of 2007 Poll.

Timbaland's huge hit "Apologize" spends a seventh week atop the THO 100, still fending off advances by Linkin Park and Leona Lewis. Although still a few weeks away, it seems as though Britney Spears may have another #1 hit, as "Piece of Me" is the largest point gainer this week, moving up to #7.

Timberlake's hits were consistently bigger than T-Pain's, and his songs spent a combined 134 weeks on the chart, 89 weeks inside the top 40, and 28 weeks in the top 10.
